James Sleeman is a 25 year member of Optometry Australia – the peak body for optometry in Australia. Starting the optometry practice in Chittaway Bay in 2001, with a speciality is assisting children with learning difficulties James loves helping kids who are struggling get a fresh approach to learning using behavioural optometry. James is a member of the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry and has had a lifelong interest in learning difficulties. With the increased incidence of chronic diseases, he likes to help his clients take more responsibility for their health using a natural health perspective.
Karen is both a fully qualified Vision Therapist as well as a fully qualified optical dispenser, providing expert advice on frame and lens selection. Karen has completed her accreditation through the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry and her role is to oversee our therapy programs.
Mary-Anne is a qualified primary school teacher B.Ed (Primary) and is cross trained in holistic nutrition (Adv Dip Nutritional Medicine). She is very comfortable in the vision therapy room, working with children of all ages and at their level. Our therapists are committed to improving our patients lives as a result of vision therapy.
The team assists with thorough care of learning issues that includes vision therapy and precision colour lens assessment. We love having a positive impact on our patients lives.
